130712 ~ Good Luck Canucks!

Good luck to all of the Canucks competing in the UG Series Beach WOD Competition today!  We have 16 team members representing our box! For those of you unable to make it to Wasaga Beach, we have the original Canadian Hero WOD for you! 

A special thanks to Coach Graeme who stepped up and volunteered to coach today...if not for him, we would have had to close up the box!

If you are thinking of make the trek up to cheer on the team, the Competition starts at 9am on Beach 1 in Wasaga Beach.  You will find us under the Canuck tent!

15 Deadlift (250/205)
25 Box jumps, 30 inch box
50 Pull-ups
100 Wallballs (20/14#)
200 Double-unders

Run 400m with a 45/25# plate

Lieutenant Andrew Richard Nuttall, 30, from the 1st Battalion Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry  (1 PPCLI), based in Edmonton, Alberta, serving as a member of the 1 PPCLI Battle Group was killed by an improvised explosive device that detonated during a joint foot patrol near the village of Nakhonay in Panjwaii District, about 25 km southwest of Kandahar City on December 23, 2009. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Ethel Jane Nuttall.
