131028 ~Bulgarians for a While

Today marks the beginning of a new strength cycle! This time around, we will not only be focusing oran the squat (even though we will still be squatting quite a bit), but full and heavy Olympic Lifts.  We will be loosely following a Bulgarian type system, which will have us lifting heavy quite often.  This is our last big strength cycle before we change gears and rev. up our conditioning for the Open! Lot's of fun ahead....lets see how many lbs. we can add to our squats, cleans, jerks, and snatches!!

 This is also the last week for the Whole Life Challenge.....8 weeks has been a long time!  Last chance to get those extra points....testing is this Friday!

Strength

Bulgarian Day #1:

EMOM x 4 min 1 Snatch @ 88%

1 min ME Strict Pullups (weighted if possible)

1 min rest

EMOM x 2 min 2 Snatch @ 77%

 1 min ME Strict Pullups

1 min rest

then Every 90s x 2 min 3 Snatch @ 73%

1 min ME Strict Pullups

 1 min Rest.

Conditioning:

Complete for time:

5 Rnds

3 Ground to Shoulder (165/125#)

3 Shoulder to Overhead (165/125#)

3 Back Squats (165/125#)

Cash Out: 50 "V" Ups for time

then...

100 AB -Mat Situps for time
