151105 ~ Canuck Cares.....Time to Start Giving Back!

Halloween is over.....Christmas is now taking over everywhere!!  It's time to start thinking about the Holidays, and our Christmas Canuck Cares initiative.  It has become a Canuck tradition to sponsor a family each Christmas.  Our Canuck Family is not only strong and talented, it's important that we share our gifts with the community.  As a way to Inspire Healthy Living, it is important to give back to the Community from which we came. We are calling upon all Canucks to come together and help a family in need have a Christmas to remember.

Our Family is Composed of the Following:

Mom: A single mother...
Rianna: Age 14 (girl)
Marcus: Age 10 (boy)
Joshua: Age 9 (boy)
Kalique: Age 7 (boy)
Brianna: Age 5 (girl)

The family is located in an apartment in the Kipling and Finch area. Food is a priority. Mom has difficulty providing snack foods and juice for school lunches. All food is appreciated but cereal and snacks were mentioned. She said healthy foods are a must but the kids would appreciate some treat foods.

Each week we will be releasing different needs for the family (toiletries, toys, food, etc.)so keep an eye out on social media and ears open at the beginning of classes as we'll continue to announce it. The collection box is under the goals board at the box, any help is appreciated.

Week 1: Food; snacks, canned good, non-perishable foods, etc.

Can you believe this weather????  Did you think you would get through the week without a good run??
