151111 ~ Lest We Forget

Lest we forget about our brothers and sisters who put their lives in danger every day, in the past and in the present. A number of Canucks are currently serving in the armed services our positive thoughts and prayers are with them each and every day!  When you are suffering through this workout, remember what others do for us.

This workout is named after Canadian Soldier and Hero Andrew Nuttall. Lieutenant Andrew Richard Nuttall, 30, from the 1st Battalion Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (1 PPCLI), based in Edmonton, Alberta, serving as a member of the 1 PPCLI Battle Group was killed by an improvised explosive device that detonated during a joint foot patrol near the village of Nakhonay in Panjwaii District, about 25 km southwest of Kandahar He trained at CrossFit Vancouver, served our country, and died for us, our country, and the pursuit of world peace.

If possible, wear red in honour of  Nutts and all of those who’ve given their lives for our safety and freedom.
