Member Motivation – Vanitha E.

Vanitha was a determined woman to get her health and wellness back on track! She took the step forward and joined us in our On-Ramp program in 2016. From there, this once unsure, soft spoken individual, became more confident and one of the loudest voices you hear cheering for her Canuck Community daily!

Member Motivation – Lori K.

In 2017, Lori made the decision to try Crossfit (she said it was her first good decision!). Her second best one was walking through the doors of Canuck.Twelve years ago, when Lori experienced some major changes in her life, which contributed to a gain of 30lbs. Lori said she had felt like she had aged 30 years, and basically didn’t recognize the once fit and active person she had always been.

Member Motivation – Quentin W.

Quentin or ‘Q-man’ or just ‘Q’ is one of our Canuck athletes who came to us because his mom, Lisa (a member herself) wanted him to be ACTIVE!Quentin is high-functioning autistic and started in our Canuck Kids program in 2016. We worked together to keep him moving with the class, finding the best approach to teach new skills without causing any frustration, and bottom line – having FUN with fitness!
