CrossFit Canuck has 10,000 square feet of training space complete with all the equipment you need to achieve your fitness goals. Our program offerings include:

The On-Ramp Program provides new members a solid progression in the movements of CrossFit. Successfully completing this program will allow individuals to seamlessly transition into the fast-paced group classes. Each session includes a warm-up, sill instruction/review, and a workout.

During each class, we will explain the value of and stress proper mechanics, technical mastery and that the primary goal is to provide consistent exposure to the movements in order to adequately prepare each member for success in the group class environment.

The On-Ramp Program is required for all athletes without CrossFit experience prior to enrolling in the group classes. If you have previous experience, you will meet with a coach for a movement assessment in order to determine the appropriate starting point for you. At CrossFit Canuck, we pride ourselves in ensuring all our athletes well in order for them to effectively achieve their personal goals.

**On-Ramp Program runs once a month for a total of 12 classes and attendance is capped. Class times are every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30pm and Saturday at 8:30am.

CrossFit Group Class

Take your skill base to the next level! A faster paced class where everyone already has the base knowledge of all the fundamental movements. Movements and skills will be reviewed and practiced in each class to continuously improve your technique and competence of each movement.

Looking for a workout program designed for effective fat loss, muscle toning, and full-body conditioning? Sweat60 is the perfect fit! With the added component of light to moderate loading exercises, it will boost the body’s calorie burn. All this while training to prevent injury and improve proficiency with functional movements.

The movements utilized in Sweat60 are modifiable to any age-from teens to seniors; and fitness levels from beginners to the athletically inclined. Coaches scale the exercises as needed and are hands-on in providing guidance for safe movements and steady progress.

CrossFit Kids

2019 SPRING PROGRAM DETAILS – BEGINS SAT., APR. 6 (8-week session)

LIL CANUCKS (Ages 3-5 Years Old)  – Saturdays at 8:30am (30 Minute Class)               
1 Class per Week – Members: $69 | Non-Members: $85

These are for the youngest of kids that want to be active, work with other kids, and play some fun games! This is a 30 minute class that includes group warm-up, instruction, game play, and ends with free time.

CANUCK KIDS (Ages 5-9 Years Old)  – Saturdays at 10:30am (60 Minute Class)            
1 Class per Week – Members: $99 | Non-Members: $119

Canuck Kids is our existing program that is a mix of skill learning, workout-of-the-day, and game play. Class is 60 minutes long and includes a group warm-up, instruction, workout-of-the-day, game play, and ends with free play if time permits.

CANUCK BEASTS (Ages 9-14 Years Old) – Saturdays at 11:30am (60 Minute Class)     1 Class per Week – Members: $109 | Non-Members: $144

Canuck Beasts is a new addition for those pre-teens who are ready to focus on skill learning, gymnastics, and beginning to incorporate the use of barbells and other weighted objects into workout-of-the-day. This is the stepping stone to regular CrossFit classes. Class is 60 minutes long and includes a group warm-up, instruction, workout-of-the-day, and cool down.

Open to children ages 3-14 years old. This class lays the foundation for all future movements that our young athletes will encounter, whether it be sport-specific or fitness related. Kids will learn body awareness, coordination, and the fundamentals of gymnastics and strength training.

The CrossFit Kids program is a strength and conditioning program specifically designed to help kids develop a lifetime love of fitness. This is CrossFit geared towards and designed with the child in mind to help strengthen their neurological, cognitive, and motor skills. Canuck Kids is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. Our goal is to support the specialist, but reward the generalist.

In a class setting, boys and girls of all fitness levels, take part in challenging yet fun workouts that deliver obtainable, measurable results to help them become all around athletes. Our program for kids highlights the importance of exercise and prepares young bodies and minds for optimal growth and development. Using functional, full-body exercises to improve strength, coordination, balance, agility, flexibility and endurance, the focus is on encouraging proper form and technique and, most importantly of all, having FUN!

We emphasize team work and cooperation in a positive environment to help kids build a love for fitness. Each class includes a warm-up, skill/focus work, followed by the WOD (Work Out of the Day) and ends with a fitness related game. The functional movements involve exercises that are fundamental to all things kids need to do when they pull, push, run, throw, climb, lift, and jump. In addition to increasing overall athleticism, our kids program will help your child gain more self-confidence, instill in them a healthy, positive body image, teach them how to move properly and avoid injury, and school them in life skills such as perseverance, discipline, dedication, and motivation.

CrossFit Endurance

Are you looking to run faster, longer, avoid injuries, and reduce impact on your body? Do you have specific training goals? Are you planning to run a race, or two, or three, or just want to get up and running, and need some help? Our CrossFit Endurance (CFE) program is designed to help you achieve your goals in 2017!

With the CrossFit Canuck CFE program, you’ll get all the support you need, our program includes:

  • An initial, in-person discussion around goal setting, current training, and your racing schedule to provide the best possible individualized training program
  • Custom training plan personalized to YOUR goals
  • A review of your training plan and other training (how they fit together)
  • Access to SportTracks online tracking tool for tracking workouts is included at no additional charge
  • Class times are available twice a week, to provide opportunities to focus on continued development of proper running technique, and provide workouts designed to develop and maximize performance and endurance using a combination of technique and form drills, pacing drills, and interval training
  • Communication with your coach once per week
  • Monthly communication to discuss progress, race prep, or any other questions you may have
  • Changes to training plan made monthly based on analysis, feedback, and communication
  • Detailed race strategy session and post-race debrief/analysis

On and Off Season team training

If you have a team of athletes that are looking for group training, we encourage you to contact us. Our large facility and equipment inventory is designed to extend outside of just classic CrossFit-style training and meet the demands of specialized or focused skill sports such as hockey, basketball, football, soccer, and more.

Our team of highly trained coaches will challenge your team to push their physical and mental limits well beyond what they perceived them to be. Not only does this transfer directly to the field, the rink or court, but into their personal lives as well. Our trainers are passionate, focused, intense, and knowledgeable. Help your team achieve their goals and get to the next level! CrossFit Canuck Team Training can accommodate sports teams large and small.

Team training sessions are 1 hour private sessions dedicated entirely to the team-specific training requirements. Canuck will also do off-site training – we come to you!

Minimum team size is 8 participants. Various ages of teams welcome i.e. ages 10 and up.

Eastbound Powerlifting

Eastbound Powerlifting will take the guess work out of your strength and powerlifting specific training. Our coach will track and record all the metrics needed, ensure that you are working at the proper volumes and intensities, as well as plan out your training blocks well in advance to suit your goals. Weekly and Monthly training packages will include access to on-the-spot coaching at scheduled times throughout the week, as well as competition day coacing and handling. Athletes that subscribe to either a weekly or monthly package are eligible to compete as a member of the Eastbound Powerlifting Team.
