Certified Eat to Perform Level 1 Coach – Coach Tavia Van Damme

Fitness and health go hand in hand with a solid nutrition program. At CrossFit Canuck, we believe that everyone should train hard and eat well. We don’t believe in ‘diet and exercise.’ There is a better way to a healthy lifestyle!

Whether you are training hard as an athlete or just training for life, you want to maximize your effort by fueling your body properly. The next logical step is to amp up your nutrition.

How it Works:

We calculate your macronutrients based on your personal information and your specific goals. We work with a wide range of individuals that want to learn how this style of eating can improve their performance! From those looking to improve their body composition to high-level athletes, we will work with you to clean up your nutrition. 

We will walk you through and teach you how to eat for performance; you will be able to email us with questions, and special situations for Performance Nutrition Guidance. You do not need to be a CrossFit Canuck athlete to take advantage of this life changing service!

Michelle comes to us with over 5 years of massage therapy experience and has worked extensively in physiotherapy clinics across Toronto. She is fully experienced in treating patients with soreness, sports injuries, and pain associated with accidents and other incidents involving necessary rehabilitation procedures. 

Michelle is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario

Michelle is available every Friday from 12:00pm to 6:00pm, beginning Fri., Mar. 1.

Chiropractor – Dr. Alwyn Wong

Alwyn knows that healthcare professionals can no longer hide behind their white coats, credentials, and must adapt healthy lifestyle choices to set an example for their patients and clients. He is a health professional who practices what he preaches. Using an integrated treatment approach, Dr. Wong uses a combination of ART (a patented soft-tissue technique, acupuncture, chiropractic, nutritional consultation, and program design to treat his patients and clients; many of whom have included professional athletes from the NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB, and PGA, as well as Olympic, UFC, and IFBB athletes.

Alwyn is holds a BSc in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario, is a Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, and completed the Medical Acupuncture Program at McMaster University. Alwyn is also educated in Active Release Technique (ART), Kinesiology Taping, and advanced nutrition courses. 

Dr. Alwyn is available every Wednesday from 2:00pm to 8:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am to 12:00pm.
